昨年のAtomic Bomb Compilationでは平和への祈りを込めて曲を作りましたが、今年は権力者への怒りを込めて皆さまにお届けすることをお許し下さい。
終戦から長い年月が経ち、戦争経験者の方々も年々と天に召され、それに従い戦争の賛美と歴史の改竄を望む勢力がここ日本で勢いを増しています。それはメディアを屈服させ、ジャーナリズムや知性を無化する影響力を手に入れようとするとともに、議会や日本各地でも少数意見を何ひとつ鑑みることなく、議論を圧殺し、人々を戦争の高揚に煽り、弱者を見殺しにし、虐げる。
これはかつての日本やドイツでの戦前の状況に近づいているのではないでしょうか。考え過ぎと思われる方もいるでしょう。しかし、想像して下さい。危機感すら無くなった世界がどのような方向に進むかということを。
私は祖父と祖母を敬愛し、多くの愛を受けてきましたが、やはり戦争に巻き込まれ、状況に従ってしまった彼らの選択の全てを肯定することはできません。そして、祖父が瀕死の重症を負い戦地から帰り、戦争が終わった時、戦後に労働運動を闘っていた時、祖父の人生を思うとやはり彼の戦後は悔恨から私たちの世代に平和を残したいという思いがあったと感じています。
私は彼らから受け取ったものを発展させ、後の世代につなげていかなければいけないという責務をひとりの人間として感じています。そして私が愛する音楽も人々が自由に、善い人生を送っていける社会をつくるための力を貸してくれるものと信じています。それは例えばアメリカでの有色人種にとって音楽が彼らにどれほどの力を与えているかを見れば、歴史が示していることとわかります。
音楽は人々の感情に寄り添い、人々を助けます。音楽は孤独な時、傍らにいてくれます。音楽は忘れたときも、そこにいてくれます。時に音楽は人々を結びつけます。そして音楽は力になります。勇気を与えてくれます。
音楽はあらゆる感情と存在できるとともに怒りを表現することができます。私たちは受け取ったものを守るために怒らなければいけない。ひとりの人間として間違っていることを見て見ぬふりをしてはいけない。
怒りは常にネガティヴなものではなく、正しく創造的であり得ます。正しく使って行かなくてはいけません。そしてそれがまさに今だと思うのです。私たちは音楽とともに進んでいくという気持ちを、今回この曲で込めさせて頂きました。
音楽とともにあらゆる場所で集まり、共有し、話し、一緒に進んでいきましょう。私たちにはいつも音楽がいるのですから。
Last year, I made a song with praying for peace, but please forgive me to deliver with anger in this year.

A long time has passed since the end of World War II, people with war experiences have been called to heaven from year to year, and the forces that wish for worship praise and falsification of war in accordance therewith have gained momentum here in Japan. 
It tries to gain influence to kill journalism and intelligence, pressures the discussion, ignores the minority opinion of Congress and all over Japan, and incites people to make war.

I think it's approaching the prewar situation in Japan and Germany. Do you think that I think 'too much'? But please imagine. About the world where the feeling of crisis disappeared.

I respected my grandfather and grandmother and received a lot of love, but I can not affirm all of their choices, which were also involved in  war and obeyed the situation. And when my grandfather was seriously injured in the battlefield, when the war is over, when fighting the labor movement after the war. Thinking of my grandfather's life, he hoped to leave peace for later generations from his regret, I feel.

I think as a human being the responsibility to develop what I received from them and connect them to future generations. And I believe that the music I love will also lend the power to create a society where people can live a good life in liberty. For example, if you see how much power music gives to them for colored races in America, you can see that history shows.

Music snuggles people's emotions and helps people. When you feel alone, music will be by your side. Even when you forget music, music will be there. Sometimes music brings people together. And music becomes power. It gives us courage.
Music can express all kinds of emotions and existence of anger. We have to get angry to protect what we receive. Do not pretend to be unseen as a human being.

Anger is not always negative, it can be correctly creative. I have to use it correctly. And I think that's exactly right now. In this song, I put the feeling that we will go foward with music.
Let's gather, share, talk and go together with music at every place. Because music is always with us.
